Producer: How Do I Create or Manage Customer Accounts?

As a producer, you can create and manage accounts for buyers who prefer not to order directly through Dagens. This allows you to place and manage orders on their behalf.


Create a Customer Account

  1. Go to the Customers page and click Create customer.
  2. Fill in the required details:
    • Billing information (e.g., business name, billing email).
    • Contact information (e.g., name, phone, notification email).
    • Delivery information (e.g., address, delivery window).
  1. Click Create customer to finish.

Update Customer Information

You can update information on behalf of customer accounts that you manage.

  1. Go to the Customers page and find the customer.
  2. Click the Three dots next to their name.
  3. Select Edit customer account and update the necessary details.

If the Customer Needs to Access Their Own Account

Customers who want to access their account to browse produce and order themselves must sign up. Managed accounts are for customers who rely on you to handle orders. If a customer wants access to an account you manage, please contact support.
